Let’s Bring Clusters to Schools

“Let’s Bring Clusters to Schools” is a project created under the SEA – Education and Science Agency call for secondary schools.

Students of the Business Academy in Poprad (OA), led by vocational subject teacher Martina Dovalovská, selected SSCC as their project partner.

The activity is part of the ongoing project “Growth, Innovation and Networking of the Slovak Smart City Cluster”.

14. The goal of the activity is for students to prepare innovative proposals for clusters—how to help existing or new clusters become more visible within the region or beyond, as part of the subject “Training Firms”.

In September 2023, the project’s introductory meeting took place, during which students of the Business Academy and SSCC representatives shared the information needed for collaboration. The SSCC cluster and project manager presented the cluster’s vision and activities, while students explored ways to jointly promote and innovate the work of the cluster organization. The next phase of the joint project will include preparing proposals, consultations, and a final presentation of the project outcomes. The project will run until 30 November 2023. The coworking centre for this workshop was provided by the non-profit organisation (f)ITcubator, which is also a member of the cluster.
