From 7 to 10 September 2025, the New Technology Experience (NTE) team held a training camp at (f)ITcubator in Poprad as part of their project for the 2025 FIRST Global Challenge. The team finalized a poster, a pitch presentation, and a two-minute demo video on using harmonic radars to track invasive Asian hornets — supporting biodiversity protection. The preparations were also linked to their presentation at SlovakiaTech 2025 (17–18 September, Kulturpark Košice).
During the four days, the team worked on visual materials, video editing and rendering, added graphic elements, and fine-tuned the presentation content.
The preparations included two online consultations with experts from Slovakia and Italy, focused on the mathematical and physical principles behind harmonic radars for reliable tracking of Asian hornets.
The team used (f)ITcubator’s technical facilities: working with computers and projection, brainstorming on whiteboards, and filming in front of a green screen.
The NTE project follows the theme of FIRST Global 2025 – Eco Equilibrium and is heading toward presentations at the international competition and the SlovakiaTech 2025 conference.
