Digital, intelligent or smart city? The (f)ITcubator in Poprad was about a city that will communicate with you as a citizen. It is interested in whether you are a citizen, entrepreneur, tourist or student, simply a person who lives in the city. We learned more about how it is on the part of the local government, service provider and citizen. The introduction to SmartCity, which reminds us of the famous Loch Ness Monster, opened the eyes of many that this is not a fashion fad, but a chance to live more efficiently in their own city.
Citizens have a nicely painted apartment, a renovated core, a mowed garden, but they spend half their time outside their apartment or house and they need to be interested in why the light is not on, why they don’t have a place to park or where to throw the garbage. The city office is not just an office, but a place that is supposed to communicate with citizens and provide them with sufficient service even remotely. And we learned about this connection at last week’s seminar. There is a Citio system that can connect the office with residents, students, tourists or students. It is a comprehensive system that can connect citizens, office employees, entrepreneurs, tourists, students and schools with the city. The city will get a comprehensive platform that can be launched all at once, or it can be launched gradually like a puzzle with maximum emphasis on the digitalization of processes within the city, but also between citizens.

2. Digital city. Lukáš Bednár from MVI Technology www.mvi.sk introduced the audience to the issue of a digital city from the perspective of local governments and the creation of solutions.
3. Ján Michlík, CEO of www.aminet.sk , told us more about urban data and its use in practice.
